9^th Ave might still be a nightmare, but here’s at least some good news in the never-​ending roadwork saga: the perpetually-​under-​construction (and occasionally home to “bedbugs alley”) strip of W 49^th St between 9^th & 10^th has mostly cleared of construction, save for the very ends:
