Life in and around Hell’s Kitchen, NYC
NBC took over a bit of W 43rd St today to film the relatively-new series The Blacklist, starring James Spader (aka Robert California). Most of the action happened inside, so basically all we had to enjoy was equipment blocking lining the sidewalk:

A couple of movies are filming around the area this week. First up, “John Wick”, an action thriller staring Keanu Reeves is happening around W 47th St:

Meanwhile, “Moonquake Lake” – the remake of Annie – is back again, in the same area around the W 50s and 10th Ave as last month.
Never a dull moment.
Get ready for the film crews, “Moonquake” is filming around the W 50s tomorrow. Moonquake is apparently the codename for a remake of Annie. The phone number posted has links to Columbia Pictures, so there’s credibility to that. They took over the East Village last month, under the name “Moonquake Lake”.
According to the internet, Quvenzhané Wallis will be playing Annie, and Jamie Foxx will play Benjamin Stacks.
The Following is the latest show to take over the area, setting up all over the place from 50th & 9th to 56th & 11th throughout today.
We’ll be on the lookout for Kevin Bacon.
The HBO series “Girls” took over half of Restaurant Row today, filming in and around a few spots in there.
The trucks were set up all down the block on W 46th St, and were filming inside Lattanzi and O’Flaherty’s, so expect to see them on TV soon!
Production crews were set up filming over at DeWitt Clinton Park today, taking over the whole seating and dog run areas.
