Hell’s Kitchen welcomed a new farmer’s market to the area today. The market runs along the sidewalk on 42^nd St between 11^th & 12^th Avenues, and will be running 8am-​6pm every Wednesday through to the end of November.

Per the site, here’s the list of stalls that are participating so far:

• Artisanal Bakery: Breads and baked goods from Bergen County, NJ
• Dipaola Turkey Farm: Turkeys from Mercer County, NJ
• Millport Dairy: Cheddar cheese, beef, pickles and baked goods from Lancaster County, PA
• Morgiewicz Produce: Vegetables from the black dirt of Orange County, NY
• Nature’s Way Honey: Honey & candles from Chemung County, NY
• Norwich Meadows Farm: Certified Organic vegetables from Chenango County, NY
• Toigo Orchard: Orchard fruit from Cumberland County, PA
• Las Delicias: Baked goods New York County, NY

They also had live music on in the middle of the day, as well as a free demonstration. With the dramas going on with the Big Apple Meat Market being bounced between locations, and the cancelled plans for a new supermarket on 45^th St, it’ll hopefully help fill the void of fresh food in the area.
