Kite flying tomorrow at Port Authority Bus Terminal

From 1pm — 4pm tomorrow, the Fashion Center BID will be taking over the roof of the Port Authority Bus Terminal for an afternoon of high-​flying action. Per the site:

…featuring kite decorating with Free Arts NYC, Ricardo Pascal and his miniature Mighty Kites, kite expert Glenn Davidson and friends, street games with Materials for the Arts, the always popular face painting by Agostino Arts, AcroYoga demonstrations from Om Factory, jugglers, unicyclists, and even more! In addition to the free food court, Band of Bicycles will be blending cool fruit smoothies with pedal power. All of this is topped off with an incredible musical performance by Louie and Subanda, and a special performance by Talina.

This is the 9th year the event has been on, and it’s completely free! There’ll even be stations to build your own kite apparently, for those who don’t always keep one handy.
