Braving the temperature for the Fall Film Screening
As we mentioned yesterday, the W 45th & 46th St Block Associations held their annual Fall Film Screening in Matthews Palmer Playground, and despite the ever-dropping temperatures, there was a good turnout.

The children got to make their own “seedballs” (exactly what it sounds like – balls of soil full of seeds):

They even had free pumpkin pie and apple cider available (I’m pretty sure the pie was courtesy of Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant, so that’s nice of them):

This is the 8th year they’ve been running the night, and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down. It’s a great way to bring the local streets together for a family evening before it’s actually winter.

Overall just a nice community night out.
