Thanksgiving vegetable share available from the HK Farm Project

The harvest season is wrapping up at the Hell’s Kitchen Farm Project (on the roof of the Metro Baptist Church on W 40th). Just in time for Thanksgiving, they’re offering a “Thanksgiving Vegetable Share” basket for sale to the community, full of locally-​grown produce.

Here’s what’s in each basket:

  • 1 Bunch Parsley
  • 1 Bunch Collard Greens
  • 1 Bunch Mustard Greens
  • 2 lbs Onions
  • 1 Bunch Spinach
  • 2 lbs Potato
  • 2 lbs Carrots
  • 3 lbs Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Butternut Squash
  • 1 Bunch Kale
  • 2 lbs Rutabega

The baskets are $30, and will be available for pick-​up on the 26th (next Tuesday), but orders have to be in by tomorrow. Per the announcement, if you want to order one, you should contact lbaccus@​hellskitchenfarmproject.​org.
