The decade-​old “cheese market” and wine bar Kashkaval – on 9^th Ave up between 55^th & 56^th – will be forced to close at the end of this month since their landlord, the Clinton Housing Development Company, has given them notice that their lease will not be renewed, and is apparently refusing to discuss any change of a renewal.

Running out of time, the owners of Kashkaval have started a petition to try get the CHDC to renew their lease.
