Someone has lost their dog around the W 50s:

The dog’s name is Larica, and if you’ve seen it wandering around please call (917) 804‑7619. I’m sure the owners will really appreciate it.

Update: Unfortunately reader Nicole has let us know in the comments that the owners have confirmed Larica has passed away. Our condolences.

Quick “community service announcement”: over the past few days, flyers have been put up around 45^th & 9^th for a found dog. The “small dog with a collar but no tag” was found around 2pm on Tuesday, so if your dog has gotten out and matches the description be sure to call:

Missing Cat

Saw this flyer up this morning around 36^th St. Unlike the hundred or so “apartment for rent” ads, here’s one actually worth looking at:

The cat’s name is “Tonka”, and was last seen on Tuesday on W 36^th St between 8^th & 9^th. If you see the cat, call Tom on (917) 257‑5716. There’s a $250 reward too, so that’s nice. Hopefully Tonka is returned safely.
